Leading commercial real estate development seeks experienced Leasing Attorney

KEY OBJECTIVE(S)
Our client, a unique and leading provider of family entertainment, is searching for a Real Estate Leasing Attorney
If selected, YOU will manage legal matters for a large commercial real estate development, including negotiating, drafting and revising real estate documents, financing documents, and tenant leases.
In this role YOU will:
Communicate with leasing agents regarding lease documents/deals made with tenants (or proposed tenants). Assist leasing agents with tenant proposals, including LOI’s and check restrictions. Meet with leasing agents to review lease terms/status.
Review lease deals, lease modifications and completed leases with President.
Negotiate leases, lease modifications, waivers, subordination agreements, estoppels, and termination agreements with tenants, attorneys, and brokers. Draft and revise new leases.
Negotiate ancillary lease forms (waivers, estoppels, terminations, rentals).
Assist departments with insurance claims, lease claims, and tenant disputes.
Handle tenant defaults and litigation matters.
Negotiate additional documents as requested.
YOU might be the RIGHT person if YOU have:
J.D. required
3+ years practicing law, with experience in commercial real estate.
Knowledge of multi-unit Retail leasing.
Knowledge of commercial Real Estate Financing is a plus.
Experienced in contract negotiations.
